Toni Morrison, you say? You mean from Waiting to Exhale? Well, yes indeed it is. She was a close collaborator and biographical writer for Angela Davis in the mid-70s, especially around and after the infamous trial where Ms. Davis was charged with 3rd degree murder for a California store robbery she was not involved in, that killed 2 people. She was exonerated, and became a star martyr.
Ms. Morrison was getting to know her better then, A slip in time saves nine. Here they are in 1974, walking down the streets of Harlem, contemplating what will come next....
